Benefits of a restricted key system

As an end user you can be secure in the knowledge that only you will be allowed to have duplicates of your key made.

 How is this possible? As an authorized GMS MX13 dealer, we have been given a secured territory and must agree to safeguard all MX series key blanks, cylinders and key records and only duplicate keys for customers that have signature cards on file with us. These key blanks are not available at: Big Box stores,

Hardware stores or locksmith stores within our secured territory.

GMS MX13 key cylinders are very pick resistant. This is due to two factors. First is that the key way is very intricate making it more difficult for a pick or tension wrench to enter the lock. Second is that there are "mushroom" pins installed giving the cylinder false shear lines making picking very difficult.

GMS MX13 key cylinders are also virtually bump proof. This is due to the fact that key blanks are closely guarded and not available to end users making it almost impossible to make a bump

After the initial investment of having your restricted key system installed, you won't have to have your locks re-keyed as often. When an employee leaves or a house sitter gives you their key back you know that they weren't able to have duplicates made eliminating the need to have the locks re-keyed.
